The Manitou Incline was, from 1907-1990, a steep train ride up the side of "Rocky Mountain." Today the defunct railway is but an big ugly scar. It remains a popular hill to climb despite it being off-limits. This photo has my grandmother with her parents and other relatives in the 1920s.
